Glute-Ham Raise. Such an underrated workout.
Hey everyone, hope you’re all having an amazing week so far.
This morning I decided that I REALLY want to stay on track with my fitness. Not that I have been off my goal, but you know, binge here, eat there, drink this, skip that. But yesterday, I rethink everything, and tried to remember and remind myself what actually ARE my goals, and I wrote them down. I seriously recommend everyone with a little ‘fitness’ or ‘motivation’ crisis to do as well, write your goals, put some words on what you really want to achieve and it will be clearer. Whether it’s losing 5-10 lbs or be able to run a 5-10K, it will be easier to remind yourself, and by writing it you are assuming it. You do take a decision, stick to it.
Here it goes:
But most of all I don’t want to be bored and I want to feel fit, healthy, beautiful and sexy!
One of my actual short term goal is to try either Crossfit, which I’m looking for a location in Montreal and I also want to try Pole Fitness, which I am reaaaaally shy about! I am not going to lie, I am not as confident in my body that I would like and I think that this kind of class could help boost that self-esteem!
Am workout was:
Itty Bitty Bikini x3
Beach Ball Workout x3
Music was:
Total: 11 songs; 57:02min
Have a good day y’all! Mine will be one filled by eating many times, possibly a bike ride and a lot of studying!
So Today I was able to go run into the most beautiful site of Montreal (my opinion). It’s one of the biggest park in the city and for those who never came here, it reminds me a lot of central park except that it’s a small mountain right in the middle of Montreal.
See

It’s a beautiful site to run/jog/hike and there’s so many path that you can never really get bored of it. Plus if you make your way all the way to the top, the view is simply breathtaking.

So it’s kind of a reward for all that hard work!
So today’s run was an hour long here’s what helps me get through it!
I know, I know some songs are older, but still those are all very good songs to workout/run to!
Hope you like it, see ya’ll soon!

“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” – Zig Ziglar
Motivation is one of the hardest thing to keep steady for a long time. It comes and go, whether the weather is depressing, that it’s crazy busy at work, home, school or that it’s ‘that time of the month’. We all tend to fall of that bandwagon of fitness and healthy eating. The problem that always remain is why, and how can I keep my ‘motivation level’ decent enough to not feel bad about myself. First thing first, you have to remember that feeling bad about yourself for a long time is not beneficial. Because you don’t want all of your effort to go to waste and have to start all over again in a week, a month or six. You’re allowed to be disappointed, but you have to take that frustration and turn it around to something good. Always remember all those days that you DID good, that you DID fight those urges to binge and that you DID exercise. Remember how you felt afterwards.
Our brain and body tend to forget about that real fast, that’s why I encourage you to write it down, it could be in a journal with your emotions and your food intake, or it could be one word in your calendar. It could be on a blackboard so that you can see it. That way, when you don’t feel strong enough to stick to your plan, you can look at those words, those notes, those feelings, and you might just feel the need to recreate them! Also, I find it easier when the workouts and the meals are planned. That way you can look forward and prime yourself to it. Visualization also helps a lot. Let’s say you want to work out first thing in the morning, visualize yourself running or walking. Try to pick and lay your outfits before too. And while you are thinking about all that, think about how great you feel when you are doing it. You’ll sure look forward for that workout!
Having a gym/workout buddy, or taking classes is also a great way to stay motivated. First of all because you know that when you don’t feel like it, people are counting on you, but also that people will be there to push you and help you through your sweat session. You will feel the need to be there. Plus, it’s a great way to bond and meet new people. Also, see it as a plus, you can make a whole new group of friends who actually share your interests for fitness. Having fit and healthy people around you helps a lot to stay on track.
Watching fitness shows or videos on YouTube also helps a lot!
I’m in love with the Tone it up girls! Those two trainers from California are so far the best thing that happened to me. They share tons of workouts, recipes and tips to stay on track. Plus the community (AKA Tone it up Team) is wonderful, everyone is so supportive. After all, we’re all going through the same things, just not at the same time!
Here’s a few of my favorite workouts, hope it’ll help you and maybe even motivate you to stay on track, or to come back on track!
Beach Ball workout - Abs & Tone the inner thighs
Sandcastle workout - To tone your legs, arms and core.
Bikini body bootcamp -Whole body workout
Fat blast Arm Routine - Tone arms and shoulder
Don’t forget, everyone is allowed to have one of those days where the motivation is not at his highest level, just remember that it’s going to be ok! Because in the end, it will be ok.
Hope you guys are all having a great weekend!
